The Sholavaram III Vintage Panda Chronograph embraces one of the most celebrated dial configurations in horology: the panda layout. High-contrast subdials against a lighter base ensure immediate readability, echoing the clarity of mid-century chronograph instruments.

Dial Architecture

The panda configuration enhances visual hierarchy. Elapsed time can be read instinctively, with subdials positioned for balance and functional clarity.

Applied markers and proportioned hands reinforce legibility while preserving vintage character. The dial remains clean and purposeful — nothing disrupts its instrument-first design language.

The chronograph pushers provide firm mechanical feedback, reinforcing engagement with the movement.

Mechanical Integrity

At its core is the Seagull ST1901 hand-wound chronograph movement — a traditional column-wheel calibre known for mechanical transparency and reliability.

Through the exhibition caseback, the movement’s bridges and gears remain visible — a celebration of engineering rather than concealment.

The 40mm 316L stainless steel case combines brushed and polished finishes for durability and refinement. With a 13.5mm thickness and 47mm lug-to-lug span, it maintains confident wrist presence without excess bulk.

A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while 50m (5 ATM) water resistance ensures everyday practicality.

Finished with a racing leather strap and stainless steel tang buckle, the Vintage Panda Chronograph bridges historical aesthetics with modern precision.
