If HMT continued to make the mechanical watch then it might be similar to Ajwain Khaki. Fantastic specs for a non-chinese brand - Titanium case, 100m water resistance, Screw down crown, mechanical movement. Its very rare to find a hand winding watch these days.

Great size 38mm makes it contemporary yet subtle enough.

My only wish is hope the future version comes with Sapphire crystal

Amazing quality

I needed a particular strap - a brown crocodile leather for my watch and I checked multiple websites and brands both in India and abroad before buying from Ajwain. The strap I received is beautiful, it is authentic full grain leather with a great texture and fit. If you’re looking to explore new straps, particularly in exotic leathers, you can blindly go ahead with a strap from Ajwain instead of other commercial brands which are more expensive as well.

As far as I know, ajwa.in is the only strap maker in India selling genuine leather straps that fit the Casio AE1200 properly. Ordered one in brown and the quick release system made it so easy to swap out the bracelet with the leather strap. The leather quality is top-notch and feels great on the hand. Shipping via BlueDart was seamless as well. Would absolutely recommend this merchant to friends and family looking for good wrist watch straps.
